Laliga: Barcelona Winger, Raphinha Tenders Apology

Barcelona Winger, Raphinha Belloli has expressed his remorse for receiving red card in the first game of the season.

Raphinha was on Sunday night red carded in Laliga game against Getafe in the goaless maiden 2023/2024 season of the Catalans giant.

Posting on his social media account, the Brazilian wrote “I want to take this moment to express my sincere apology to my teammates, the staff, the fans, and all those who follow me here on Instagram.

“I made a mistake that could have had serious consequences for the team. This is not the way I intended to kick off the season.

“I fully acknowledge my actions and take responsibility for what transpired last night. Mistakes serve as opportunities for growth, and I am committed to learning from them and becoming better.

“I understand that some of you may be disappointed, but I am determined to give my utmost while wearing this jersey.

“I am devoted to the club I’m culer and I will continue to be one of you. I am eager to make amends in any way possible, demonstrating my dedication to this badge.”

Barcelona will be defending it’s Laliga crown against Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid among other teams of the Spanish professional league.
