Transfer: Barcelona Captain Confirms Neymar Eager To Return
Barcelona captain, Sergi Roberto has insisted that Paris Saint-Germain’s Neymar is excited to return to Camp Nou.
Neymar is edging towards a sensational reunion with Barcelona this summer.
The Brazilian is said to have a two-year deal with the option of a further year on a €13million-per-season salary with Barcelona for his transfer to the Catalan club.
Roberto claims to have spoken to the forward regarding the move.
He said (via Managing Barca): “I spoke with Neymar and he is excited to return.
“I would like him to come back because he is a friend, a former teammate and he is a different player than everyone else.
“When he was here, I spent the best years of my career and we won everything with him.”
Neymar left Barcelona for PSG in 2017 after enjoying four sensational seasons at the La Liga champions.
