Osogbo Born 2023 Afrobasket Champion Received By Osun Governor
The Osogbo born Nigerian basketballer, Olawuyi Olayemi, who played and won the 203 Afrobasket Rwanda has been received by Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke.
Adeleke received Olayemi at his office in the white house complex, Abere on Thursday.
Olawuyi Olayemi hail from Ile-Ogidi Compound in Osogbo, Osun State.
She was among the stars that won the Gold Medal for Nigeria at the just concluded African Female Basketball Championship.
Hosting the 2023 Afrobasket champion, Governor Adeleke congratulated her for the victorious outing of the D’Tigress of Nigeria in Rwanda.
The governor equally reiterated his administration’s commitment towards Sport development in the State.
