2022 WWC: Last African Team, Morocco Kicked Out Of Tournament
The last African team in the ongoing 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, Morocco has been kicked out.
Morocco faced a very strong European team, France in a round of 16 match played on Tuesday.
The ladies of Morocco were beaten with a four-goal unreplied making them the third African team; South Africa and Nigeria who qualified for the round of 16 to exit the tournament.
Teams like Brazil, USA, Canada, Jamaica among others have also returned home after the failed to progress to the next round.
Meanwhile, teams like ; England, Netherlands, Colombia, Sweden, France, Spain, Japan and Australia have all qualified for the quarter-finals.
