The father of the Super Falcons forward, Alhaji Oshoala, clarified his remarks about his daughter’s celebration against Australia

The father of Super Falcons and Barcelona striker Asisat Oshoala, Femini’s father, responded to his daughter’s statement that he was not happy with the celebration after the forward scored his third goal against Australia.

The Super Falcons forward took advantage of a misunderstanding between the Australian goalkeeper and her defense linebacker and came home to score Nigeria’s third goal, then burst into celebration.

He’s supposed to be on the scoreboard with the Super Falcons. After the match, Asisat posted pictures of herself on her Instagram page, saying she was sure her father would not be happy to celebrate with her, but life is made up of a moment.

But his father, Alhaji Oshoala, clarified the matter by revealing to the media that the celebration was the result of his feelings.

“It was an emotional outburst and it wasn’t intentional. I’m proud of my daughter,” he said, without revealing the exact content of the conversation. What I told him was between me and my daughter. he told the BBC.

Alhaji also spoke about the journey so far with his daughter. He explained that she never gave up on pursuing her dreams, even if he thought school was a better option for the 28-year-old.

He added, “We don’t see a bright future for her in football, and my plan is to ensure that all my children achieve high standards of education and do better than their parents. We.”

Now that she is the first Nigerian footballer, male or female, to score in three different World Cups, her father is proud of his daughter’s perseverance.

They are now hoping to beat England in a FIFA Women’s World Cup quarter-final match.
