Lionel Messi’s wife Reveals Secret Behind Latest Goal Celebration At Inter Miami

Lionel Messi’s wife explained her husband’s recent goal celebration for Inter Miami.

Messi is off to a perfect start as a Miami player since signing with the club on a free transfer after leaving Paris Saint-Germain.

The Argentine legend has scored five goals in three appearances for the club since his arrival.

Two of his last goals were against Orlando City in the League Cup round of 16. Messi scored two goals to assist in a 3-1 victory over rival Florida to advance to the next round of the competition.

After Messi scored his second goal of the night, he celebrated by crossing his arms across his chest. And now his wife, Antonella Roccuzzo, has provided an explanation behind the ceremony on social media.

Roccuzzo posted to his Instagram Story a photo of Messi celebrating in the above manner. The caption for the photo was “De Asgard a Wakanda,” which means “From Asgard to Wakanda.”

This concerns the Marvel superhero series “Black Panther” starring the late actor Chadwick Boseman, who passed away in August 2020.

In both episodes, the main characters perform the same actions as Missy, who has become synonymous with the series.

This is not the first time that Messi’s celebration has attracted attention. There was a similar reaction after appearing to celebrate under David Beckham in July.

In Messi’s second match for Miami, he appeared to target the club’s owner after scoring a goal.

As Beckham sat down, Messi celebrated with his teammates before extending his hand towards the Manchester United legend.
