Jack Nicklaus’ Record: Jack Nicklaus, one of the greatest golfers of all time, won the US Open a record-setting four times (1962, 1967, 1972, 1980). His final victory in 1980 made him the oldest winner of the tournament at the age of 40.
Tiger Woods Dominance: Tiger Woods has had an exceptional career at the US Open, winning the tournament three times (2000, 2002, 2008). His victory in 2000 at Pebble Beach by a record-setting 15 strokes is considered one of the greatest performances in golf history.
