Dillian Whyte Cries Out Over Alleged Maltreatment

Dillian White still feels disrespected by the boxing world.
The longtime London heavyweight lamented in a recent interview that he appears to be second-rate to the sport, despite his belief that he is one of the best boxers in his division.
White has expressed many complaints over the years. Specifically, Whyte has long been bitter when there was no chance to face Deontay Wilder, when Alabaman always holds the title of WBC.
Most recently, Whyte challenged for promotion ahead of a match with last year’s WBC title holder Tyson Fury at London’s Wembley Stadium.
In response, White refused to attend the press conference announcing the war and largely refrained from promoting the war on his social media.
Wyatt has made it clear that his longstanding dissatisfaction has not changed, as he prepares for another big opportunity in the ring when he faces Anthony Joshua on August 12 at the O2 Arena in London. Joshua defeated White by knockout in the seventh round in their first meeting in 2015.
“I’m used to ups and downs in my life,” White told BBC 5 Live Boxing. “Obviously it’s a shame that being one of the best boxers in the world, I still fight like [earlier in my career]. That too.
“It was hard. I wasn’t treated the way I should have been treated and I got the respect I deserved. This is life, man. When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. I should be a lemonade master now.
White says he would have heard the audience’s excuses had he finally hit Joshua back in August.
“I’m a happy soul anyway,” White said. “Even if I beat AJ, I still wouldn’t get the respect I deserve. If I beat him, they’d be like, ‘Oh, he’s been put down.’ He’s losing his mind. It is this, it is that. There will be meaningless things to say.
